Laurel Dakan

Born and raised in the Pittsburgh area, I was always fascinated with the spiritual aspects of life.

I came to Morgantown in 1972 to pursue a degree in social work at West Virginia University.

I became interested in Reiki, pranic healing, and meditation for myself and saw just how powerful it is to helping treat stress management. Over the years I became certified in these healing modalities and was able to offer them as services to others.

My little business, Mountain Laurel Crafts was formed in 2004 to encompass my passion for jewelry making and sewing as well as energy healing. That is also the year I became a Reiki Master.

As time went by, I got certified in Transformation Meditation, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique also referred to as tapping), and Angel Card Reading.

Now retired from being a hospice social worker, I can focus on making crafts and providing a variety of sessions.
