Joan Selby

I am a licensed Physical Therapist and during my 33+ years of experience, I have specialized in home health, geriatrics, children with special needs, and adults with neurological and chronic illnesses.

As a trained Physical Therapist, I have sharpened my skill at evaluation, assessment, and developing a treatment plan based on each individual’s needs with follow up plans.

Over the past 7 years, I have felt the limitations of traditional Physical Therapy and have looked for other ways to provide a more holistic, comprehensive approach to integrating mind, body, and spirit for healing.

I have trained as a Reiki Master embracing the understanding we are all energy. I have experienced and trained with John Barnes, PT as a specialized therapist in Myofascial Release. Most recently, I have started training as a Bowen Therapy apprentice.

Healing happens most completely in an environment of trust knowing you are not alone on the journey. My years in practice have led me to conclude that hands-on healing is the missing link in health care. We are energy and there are many layers to healing that make in an infinite or ongoing process.
